Tech9 is seeking an experienced Automated QA Lead to establish and lead our automated quality assurance practice from the ground up. You will design and implement scalable test automation frameworks, define QA processes, and mentor the QA team in automation strategies.

You will work with engineering, product, and leadership to ensure high-quality software delivery while driving a culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with at least 3 years focused on test automation.
• Previous experience designing and implementing an automation framework from scratch.
• Experience leading QA teams or mentoring Automation Engineers.
• Strong experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.
• Experience automating API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and quality engineering principles.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with performance, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience testing REST APIs and modern web applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

What We're Looking For
