Lead Multi-State Payroll Administrator

The client, a rapidly growing healthcare company, is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Lead Multi-State Payroll Administrator to join their team in the Hollywood Area. This is a direct-hire, on-site role that is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of their payroll operations.

About the Role

As the Lead Multi-State Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing all payroll functions for the organization of 2,000+ employees. You'll ensure every payroll cycle is completed with precision and on time, maintaining full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

This is a hands-on position where you will:

Process multi-state payroll for a large workforce, including handling garnishments and other deductions.
Review personnel action forms and prepare payroll summaries.
Collaborate closely with the Human Resources department to ensure data accuracy.
Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and external agencies to resolve issues and provide necessary information.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in high-volume payroll administration. The ideal candidate will have:

7+ years of dedicated payroll experience, with at least 5 years working with ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP Vantage.
Must have multi-state payroll experience.
Experience handling payroll for a company with 1,500+ employees or over $500 million in annual revenue.
Strong regulatory knowledge.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

While not required, a background in the healthcare, non-profit, or entertainment industries and a bachelor's degree are considered a plus.
