Exyte is seeking a shift supervisor for Villach to manage subordinate employees and coordinate day-to-day operations. The role includes staffing, safety compliance, and liaison with the Operations Manager to ensure high efficiency and quality in gas and chemistry processes.

The ideal candidate has technical/craft training, proven leadership, and fluent German. On-call duties and potential weekend shifts are part of the responsibilities, with a focus on safety culture and regulatory adherence.

Responsabilidades

• Manage subordinate employees.
• Coordinate and communicate operations and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate shift staffing and personnel requirements with the Operations Manager.
• Monitor efficiency, plan resources, control activities and ensure compliance with quality management guidelines in operations.
• Serve as contact person for the customer and support media planning.
• Perform assigned tasks in operations (on-call, maintenance, repair, analysis, media changes, transport), including additional shifts on weekends if needed.
• Act as contact person for customers, superiors, and employees in case of problems.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety, hazardous materials, cleanroom and dangerous goods regulations, and applicable laws and company rules.
• Actively participate in safety culture through training and reporting accidents or safety incidents.

In this role you will be responsible for shift management (UPW/WWT, Gas & Chemistry) at our site in Villach.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Management of subordinate employees
• Coordination and communication of operations and maintenance activities
• Coordination of shift staffing and personnel requirements in consultation with the Operations Manager
• Efficiency monitoring, resource planning, control of activities, and monitoring of compliance with quality management guidelines in the operations area
• Contact person for the customer and support with media planning
• Willingness to perform assigned tasks in the operations area (on-call duty, maintenance, repair, analysis, media changes, transport, etc.), including additional shifts on weekends if the shift is not staffed
• Contact person for the customer, superiors, and employees in case of problems
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant occupational safety, hazardous materials, cleanroom, and dangerous goods regulations, as well as applicable legal and company regulations
• Active participation in the safety culture through attendance at safety training and the immediate reporting of workplace accidents and safety-related incidents
