Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Data Engineer with strong data modeling skills to design dimensional models for Data Lake and Lakehouse solutions and to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

You will design data models using ERwin, work across Oracle, Databricks, Hive, and Azure, and contribute to dashboards and data workflows. The role emphasizes Scrum and Kanban practices and Jira-based planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data modeling and related technologies.
• Data modeling experience with ERwin.
• Knowledge of dimensional and analytical modeling, as well as Data Lake and Lakehouse structures.
• Experience manipulating data with Oracle, Impala, Hive, Databricks, or Azure.
• Knowledge of Python, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as HDFS, Hive, and Spark.
• Familiarity with data platforms and cloud services such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of databases including MongoDB, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and Cosmos DB.
• Proficiency with Jira and knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum and Kanban.

Responsibilities

• Model SDS and DATAENTRY data structures using ERwin for Data Lake architecture workflows
