Job summary

TEAM Appliances seeks a skilled Home Appliance Service & Repair Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of home appliances via workshop and on-site visits across the UAE. You will perform fault isolation, component-level servicing, and safe testing with diagnostic tools while delivering excellent customer service.

Experience of 3–5 years, a relevant ITI or diploma, and strong English communication are required; UAE driving license preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on appliance maintenance, repair and servicing.
• ITI certificate, Diploma or vocational certification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related trades.
• Strong foundation in electrical circuitry, PCB diagnosis and component-level fault finding.
• English communication skills; additional languages a plus.
• UAE/GCC field service experience is a strong advantage.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fault diagnosis and repair of major and small domestic appliances in workshop and on-site.
• Component-level servicing of motors, compressors, PCB boards, relays, thermostats, sensors and wiring.
• Use multimeters, insulation testers, pressure gauges and other diagnostic instruments safely.
• Travel to customer locations for on-site troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Explain issues and repair options clearly to customers to uphold brand trust.
• Maintain service reports, log parts usage and track warranty claims.
• Adhere to electrical safety standards, workshop protocols and repair guidelines.

Role Overview

As a Service & Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse range of home appliances across workshop settings and direct on-site customer visits. You will play a key role in ensuring quick turnaround times, first-time fix rates, and an exceptional customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Fault Diagnosis & Repair: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair major and small domestic appliances, isolating electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults accurately.
  
• Component-Level Servicing: Perform hands-on testing, repair, and replacement of critical components including motors, compressors, PCB boards, relays, thermostats, sensors, switches, and internal wiring harnesses.
  
• Diagnostic Tool Proficiency: Utilize multimeters, insulation testers, pressure gauges, and specialized diagnostic instruments to test circuit integrity and component functionality safely.
  
• Field & On-Site Visits: Travel independently to customer locations across the region for on-site troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and repair calls.
  
• Customer Service: Explain technical issues and repair options clearly to customers with a courteous, professional demeanor, ensuring high satisfaction and trust in the TEAM brand.
  
• Documentation & Inventory: Maintain accurate service reports, log parts usage, track warranty claims, and manage assigned spare parts inventory effectively.
  
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to electrical safety standards, workshop protocols, and manufacturer repair guidelines at all times.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience in home appliance maintenance, repair, and servicing.
  
• Education: ITI certificate, Diploma, or vocational certification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related trade preferred.
  
• Technical Skills: Strong foundation in electrical circuitry, PCB diagnosis, and component-level fault finding. Practical expertise servicing motors, compressors, heating elements, sensors, and electronic control modules.
  
• Soft Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills in English (additional language proficiency is a plus); professional in-person customer conduct.
  
• Mobility & Autonomy: Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, handle field service routes, and manage time efficiently.
  
• Regional Experience: Prior field service or workshop experience within the UAE or GCC is a strong advantage.
  
• Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
