Job summary

BrightEdge Recruitment is seeking a DEWA-certified Planning Engineer - Electrical (UAE) with 8–12 years of GCC/UAE experience to join a leading multinational infrastructure company in the UAE. You will develop and maintain Primavera P6 programmes and coordinate with multiple teams on critical electrical infrastructure projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, DEWA-approved Planning Engineer status, and strong skills in Primavera P6 and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–12+ years of UAE/GCC planning experience on electrical infrastructure projects.
• DEWA-approved Planning Engineer status is mandatory.
• Strong command of Primavera P6 and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline programmes in Primavera P6.
• Plan and track route preparation, trenching, cable pulling, jointing, testing and commissioning.
• Prepare WBS, resource loading, S-curve, look-ahead schedules and progress reports.
• Run delay analysis, time-impact analysis and EOT claim support.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, QA/QC, HSE, procurement and DEWA/consultant teams.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

• Strong experience with 11kV/33kV/132kV cable-laying projects, preferably with DEWA
• DEWA-approved Planning Engineer status (mandatory)
• Strong command of Primavera P6 and Excel
