CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Maintenance professional in Lima to direct preventive and complex corrective work on critical electrical systems within a data center environment.

You will ensure safe, reliable power distribution and drive continuous improvement in maintenance programs. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with several years in mission-critical facilities, plus hands-on knowledge of UPS, PDU, generators, switchgear, and BMS.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Several years in mission-critical or data centre electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of UPS, PDU, generators, LV/MV switchgear, BMS.
• Experience with complex control systems, relays, and protections.
• Experience leading technical teams in 24/7 environments.
• HVAP status preferred.
• Proficiency with CMMS/EAM and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

Job Summary

Leads the electrical maintenance team responsible for preventive maintenance and complex corrective repairs on critical electrical systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation of power distribution infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the electrical team's daily activities; establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Oversee all electrical building systems including UPS, PDU, switchgear, generators, and LV/MV distribution.
• Implement and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems.
• Maintain effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedure manuals for electrical assets.
• Lead complex fault-finding, diagnosis, and corrective repair on critical electrical infrastructure.
• Develop and manage switching schedules for electrical isolation and restoration activities.
• Coordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors and OEM vendors for electrical works.
• Mentor and coach electrical technicians; set and track team deadlines.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification/trade certification.
• Several years of experience in mission-critical or data centre electrical systems maintenance.
• Strong working knowledge of UPS, PDU, generators, LV/MV switchgear, and building management systems (BMS).
• Experience with complex automatic control equipment, relay logic, and protection systems.
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams in a 24/7 critical environment.
• Appointed or eligible for High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP) status preferred.
• Proficiency with CMMS/EAM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
