Overview

Pacific Executive Search has been engaged on a search for a Controller. Base pay range

$165,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial forecasts.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure a smooth review process.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Supervise the accounting team, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data to stakeholders and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master\'s degree or CPA designation is preferred.
• Proven experience in a financial management role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in managing a finance team.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
