MSWA, a residential care provider, seeks a Care Support Worker to deliver person-centred support to residents, helping with daily living tasks while fostering independence and wellbeing.

You will work within a dedicated team to create a safe, welcoming environment and build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

Formación

• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A genuine passion for supporting people living with disability.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
• NDIS Orientation Certificate (or ability to obtain).

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care support including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, mobility assistance.
• Assist residents with medication administration and monitoring.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Assist with catheter care, enteral management and basic wound care.
• Encourage participation in activities that promote inclusion, independence, and achievement of individual goals.
• Report and document changes in resident wellbeing and health status.
• Maintain accurate records and resident documentation.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

About The Role

As a Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to residents, assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence, choice, and wellbeing. Working as part of a dedicated residential team, you'll build genuine relationships with residents and help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, mobility assistance, hoisting, and other daily living activities
• Assist residents with medication administration and monitoring
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Assist with catheter care, enteral management and basic wound care
• Encourage participation in activities that promote inclusion, independence, and achievement of individual goals
• Report and document changes in resident wellbeing and health status
• Maintain accurate records and resident documentation
