NHS Scotland seeks a motivated Facilities Assistant (Domestic) to support high-quality cleaning and facilities services across Islay Hospital and associated sites.

Duties include routine and enhanced cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas, waste management, and supporting the wider facilities team to ensure service delivery standards. You may work flexibly to cover leave, sickness, and variable demand.

We are seeking to recruit a motivated and reliable Facilities Assistant (Domestic) to support the delivery of high-quality cleaning and facilities services across Islay Hospital and associated sites.

The postholder will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment in line with the National Cleaning Services Specification and local infection prevention and control (IPC) standards.

Duties will include routine and enhanced cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas, waste management, and supporting the wider facilities team to ensure service delivery standards are consistently achieved.

You will be required to work flexibly as part of a team to provide cover for periods of annual leave, sickness absence and fluctuating service demands.
