Job summary

FullStack is seeking an Accessibility Engineer for flexible, project-based development work with U.S. clients. You will integrate into client teams and collaborate with designers and engineers on daily accessibility tasks.

Applicants should have 3+ years in software testing or digital accessibility, strong WCAG knowledge, and experience with assistive technologies such as JAWS/NVDA. This is a fully remote role with ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, or digital accessibility.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.2 standards and web accessibility best practices.
• Hands-on experience testing web applications for accessibility issues and identifying WCAG compliance gaps.

Responsibilities

• Test web applications for accessibility issues and identify WCAG compliance gaps.
• Document accessibility issues clearly and provide actionable recommendations to development teams.
• Create and maintain test cases, document findings, and report accessibility defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement accessible solutions.
• Support CI/CD processes to ensure continuous accessibility improvements.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, or digital accessibility.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.2 standards and web accessibility best practices.
• Hands-on experience testing web applications for accessibility issues and identifying WCAG compliance gaps.
• Familiarity with assistive technologies such as JAWS and NVDA, including screen reader testing.
• Experience using automated accessibility testing tools, combined with manual testing techniques.
• Ability to document accessibility issues clearly and provide actionable recommendations to development teams.
• Experience creating test cases, documenting findings, and reporting accessibility defects.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and support the implementation of accessible solutions.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
