Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Site Quality Inspector (SQI) to perform quality inspections of wind turbine components at port/hardstand in Oman. You will conduct mechanical and final walk-downs, draft NCRs, manage punch lists, and monitor installation against the Quality Plan and ITP.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in wind field quality inspection, a technical diploma/degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical), and a valid GWO BST. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

3+ years wind field quality inspection experience.
Technical diploma/degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical engineering.
Valid GWO BST certification and fitness to work at height.

Responsibilities

Receiving inspection of nacelle, hub, blade, tower and other components at port/hardstand.
Perform mechanical and final walk-downs before energization and commissioning.
Raise NCRs and manage punch list items to closure.
Monitor installation/commissioning tasks per the ITP and procedures.
Provide quality status reports and trend analysis to the Quality PM.
