Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment is seeking a Site Quality Manager for a wind farm project in Oman. You will lead all QA/QC activities at the construction site, establish the project quality plan, and act as the primary decision authority on NCRs and deviations to ensure quality across all phases.

You will manage a quality team, coordinate gate and milestone inspections, and maintain full documentation for handover while communicating with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of quality management experience in wind energy or heavy infrastructure.
• Experience in factory/plant quality (pre-FAT) and site installation/commissioning quality.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills for multi-disciplinary teams (10+ members).
• Ability to make independent on-site decisions without remote support.
• Experience creating and managing NCRs and handover documentation.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the project quality plan across gates and milestones.
• Approve gate release documents including FAT certificates and commissioning reports.
• Disposition NCRs and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure full documentation traceability from manufacturing through handover.
• Lead QA/QC team and assign inspections per gate/component.
• Coordinate with project management, construction, engineering, and client/inspectors on quality matters.
