Job summary

Water Bird Water Treatment Company is urgently seeking a Proposal Engineer in Oman to act as the technical contact for clients. You will respond to technical inquiries, prepare high-quality proposals for STP/ETP and desalination projects, and provide engineering support across water and wastewater initiatives.

You will collaborate with sales and design teams, review tender documents for compliance, and help craft accurate, cost-effective project quotations while ensuring alignment with company

Qualifications

• Chemical engineering or mechanical engineering degree.
• Strong knowledge of STP, ETP, RO and desalination technologies.
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
• Experience in proposal writing, tender review and cost estimation.
• Detail-oriented, analytical and able to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients to understand their technical requirements.
• Prepare proposals for Sewage Treatment Plants (FBBR / MBR / SAFF), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Greywater Treatment Systems, TSE Polishing Plants, RO and Filtration Systems, and Desalination Plants
• Collaborate with the sales team to gather project information and define solutions
• Review and analyse tender documents to ensure technical compliance
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to deliver accurate and cost-effective proposals
• Develop budgetary quotations based on client requirements
• Estimate costs and perform detailed financial analysis
• Interpret client specifications, offering compliant and technically sound alternatives
• Ensure proposal pricing aligns with company strategy and engineering capacity
• Provide internal technical support when required
