Job summary

OMASCO – Oman Marketing & Services Company in Oman seeks an experienced Sales Engineer – Water Treatment Systems to drive sales, build long-term customer relationships, and support the full sales cycle from proposals to order finalization.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of RO, STP, dosing, desalination, and related chemicals, with 5–6+ years in water treatment sales and at least 3 years in design-related work. Gulf experience and an Oman driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–6+ years of experience in water treatment sales; minimum 3 years in design-related work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant technical field; Master’s preferred.
• Diploma in Chemical Engineering may be considered based on relevant experience.
• Experience in water treatment industry with strong technical knowledge.
• Experience with RO, STP, desalination, dosing systems, and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for water treatment products, systems, and related chemicals.
• Develop new customers and identify opportunities across industries; manage sales leads.
• Prepare technical submittals, P&IDs, BOQs, and related documentation.
• Present technical and commercial proposals; negotiate contracts and price terms.
• Coordinate with customers and principals on specs, design, and pricing.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, project teams, and service teams.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support growth.
