Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a PWT Launch Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute all launch activities for new vehicle programs. You will work across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, Program Management, and Product Development to ensure successful SOP and launch readiness.

You will lead readiness assessments, manage build events, verify tooling and documentation, and drive issues to closure while maintaining safety, quality, cost, timing, and volume objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing or related field.
• Experience supporting new vehicle launches, manufacturing readiness, or production ramp-up.
• Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute launch plans for new vehicle programs and major product changes.
• Lead readiness assessments, build event coordination, issue management, and validation activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to meet launch requirements and milestones.
• Monitor launch timing and elevate risks that may impact program objectives.
• Support manufacturing readiness, equipment validation, and process validation builds.
• Track launch quality metrics and drive continuous improvement.
