Job summary

Lucid is seeking a Senior Engineer, Chassis Systems to ensure chassis manufacturing quality through assembly, alignment, torque-controlled joints, wheel and tire installation, and end-of-line validation. You will interface with Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Controls, Supplier Quality, Service Engineering, and Plant Operations to meet safety and customer satisfaction targets.

You will sustain engineering after product launch, driving improvements and new part designs with core

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of wheel alignment theory and vehicle handling fundamentals.
• Hands-on knowledge of GD&T, root cause analysis, DFMEA, PFMEA, SPC, and production issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Chassis System Assembly Ownership – lead chassis assembly operations and related modules.
• Joint Tightening & Fastening Integrity – own production issue resolution and tightening strategy.
• Wheel Alignment & Vehicle Geometry – lead wheel alignment and geometry settings.
• Wheels, Tires & End-of-Line Quality Validation – oversee wheel/tire assembly and end-of-line checks.
• Sustaining Engineering – design and develop chassis components with cross-functional collaboration.
