Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a senior technical leader to own all aspects of Drive Unit manufacturing processes, from rotor/stator to HV integration. You’ll define process architecture, drive cost improvements, and ensure launch readiness while building local technical capability.

You will mentor engineers, lead cross‑functional reviews, and assure safety, quality, and delivery in a fast-paced, global environment. This role emphasizes leadership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• English fluency is required for this senior role.
• Master’s degree is highly preferred for advanced responsibilities.
• Six Sigma Black Belt and digital-manufacturing expertise are desirable.
• TPM/Autonomous Maintenance and Lean problem-solving methods are expected.
• Experience developing local technical talent in a multicultural workforce is important.
• Must be able to work around automated equipment and high‑voltage Powertrain products.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end process flow, specifications, parameters, critical characteristics, control methods and reaction plans.
• Own: PFD, PFMEA, Control Plan, SWI, shop setup, centerline and change-control coherence across DU operations.
• Lead DFM/DFA, tolerance, tooling and testability reviews with Product Engineering, Supplier Quality, Test and AME.
