Job summary

Nafal Contracting & Trading Company - Oman, muscat seeks an experienced engineer to provide operational and technical support across upstream surface facilities, ensuring safe and efficient plant performance. You will engage with multiple interfaces to solve technical issues during execution, commissioning, and steady-state operations.

The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant experience, a chemical engineering background, and practical knowledge of plant drawings and process diagrams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Chemical) is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in upstream oil & gas operations preferred.
• Strong ability to interpret process diagrams and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical engineering support across upstream surface facilities.
• Support troubleshooting and problem solving to ensure safe, efficient plant operations.
• Deliver engineering and operational tasks with technical backup for systems and equipment.
• Lead readiness activities for commissioning, start-up, and brownfield projects.
