Job summary

Experience in Oman seeks an engineering professional to provide operational and technical support for upstream surface facilities, ensuring safe and efficient site operations. You will troubleshoot, backstop hardware and process systems, and support commissioning, start-up, and readiness activities.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong engineering judgment, and collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, HSE and Supply Chain, while mentoring junior engineers and driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor level in Process, Chemical, or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with upstream surface facilities design support.
• Excellent English; Arabic desirable.
• Ability to lead technical reviews and RCA.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical engineering support across upstream surface facilities.
• Support troubleshooting and problem solving to ensure safe plant operations.
• Deliver engineering and operational support tasks for hardware, process systems, utilities.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and readiness activities.
• Interface with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, HSE, and Supply Chain.
• Mentor junior engineers and trainees.
• Lead technical input for brownfield modifications and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Manage procurement technical aspects and vendor reviews.
• Act as technical authority for operational support across assets.
