Job summary

BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL in Qatar is seeking a Store and Tooling Coordinator to manage the acceptance, storage, release and disposal of tooling in the central store. You will ensure correct identification and tracking of all tooling.

The role covers recording tool condition, applying unique serial numbers, checking deliveries with documentation, and maintaining calibration schedules; you will escalate when calibration results fall outside manufacturer tolerances.

Qualifications

• General tooling knowledge and competency within own technical area.
• Awareness of how the service integrates with maintenance users.
• Understanding of continuous improvement principles.
• Knowledge of tool control, calibration and stock management.

Responsibilities

• Manage acceptance, storage, release and disposal of tooling in central store.
• Register and assign unique serial/identification numbers to tools.
• Track and document tool condition, labeling and documentation.
• Check deliveries against orders and ensure accompanying certifications.
• Ensure timely inspection, servicing and calibration; notify leaders if calibration out of range.
• Dispose of surplus toolings and update tracking system.
• Record unserviceable tool tallies.
