Technical Services Engineer – Records & E-Services

TechnicalServices Engineer - Records & E-Services is responsible for ensuring theaccuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance of aircraft technical recordsand technical publications, supporting continuing airworthiness by maintainingcomplete maintenance records, controlling engineering documentation, managingpublication revisions, and ensuring availability of up-to-date approvedinformation to engineering and maintenance personnel in line with regulatoryand company requirements.
Duties andResponsibilities:
- Maintaincomplete, accurate, and up-to-date aircraft technical records throughout theaircraft lifecycle, ensuring all maintenance activities, aircraft logbooks,component histories, inspection reports, ADs, SBs, maintenance releases,modifications, and supporting documentation are accurately recorded, validated,retained, and archived in accordance with company procedures and regulatoryrequirements.
- Supportaircraft deliveries, lease transitions, redeliveries, audits, and regulatoryinspections by preparing, maintaining, and providing complete technical recordspackages and ensuring the security, accessibility, and integrity of alltechnical records.
- Coordinatewith Maintenance Planning, Line Maintenance, MRO, Quality, and CAMO to resolvetechnical records discrepancies. Also, act as a liaison between thesedepartments to ensure timely flow of information and resources.
- Serve asthe system owner and master user for the OASES software, responsible for systemadministration, configuration, customization, user access management, andmaintaining system data to support engineering and maintenance operations.
- Coordinatewith IT and system vendors, as required, to ensure OASES system remainscurrent, secure, and aligned with operational and regulatory requirements.
- Administerthe Engineering & Maintenance SharePoint portal by maintaining controlledengineering documents, manuals, procedures, forms, notices, and records,ensuring timely publication of revisions, removal or archiving of obsoletedocuments, and appropriate access for authorized personnel.
- Ensure thatall maintenance and modification activities are documented accurately andcomply with regulatory and company requirements.
- Manage thereceipt, distribution, revision, and control of technical publications issuedby aircraft, engine, and component manufacturers, ensuring engineeringpersonnel have access to the latest approved documentation.
- Maintainaccurate records of aircraft configuration, including aircraft effectivity,modification status, aircraft variants, operational limitations, optionalequipment, and continued airworthiness approvals.
- Maintainand update the onboard Aircraft Document Log, ensuring all requiredcertificates, approvals, and controlled documents are current, valid, andcorrectly reflected in the document index. Verify that the onboarddocumentation remains complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory andoperational requirements.
- Develop,review, issue, and maintain Technical Notices and Maintenance Circulars,ensuring accurate, timely, and effective communication of engineering andmaintenance information to all relevant personnel.
- Identifyopportunities to improve technical records, document control processes,workflows, and standard operating procedures, contributing to initiatives thatenhance operational efficiency, data integrity, service quality, and regulatorycompliance.
- Participatein training and professional development programs to maintain up-to-dateknowledge of technical records management, technical publications, applicableaviation regulations, industry standards, and relevant engineering tools andsystems.
- Carry outany other task as and when directed by Manager Technical Services.
Requirements
- Graduate in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Electrical Engineering,or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenanceoperations.
- Strong experience with aircraft inspection, repair, andmodification.
