Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Technical Services Engineer – Records & E-Services in Muscat to ensure aircraft technical records and publications meet regulatory requirements. You will act as system owner for the OASES software and manage the SharePoint portal, coordinating with IT and vendors to maintain data integrity and accessibility.

The role requires engineering background with 3–5 years in aircraft maintenance operations, plus hands-on experience with inspections, repairs, and modifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance operations.
• Strong experience with aircraft inspection, repair, and modification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date aircraft technical records throughout the aircraft lifecycle.
• Support aircraft deliveries, lease transitions, redeliveries, audits, and regulatory inspections by preparing records packages.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Planning, Line Maintenance, MRO, Quality, and CAMO to resolve records discrepancies.
• Serve as the system owner and master user for the OASES software, including administration and user access management.
• Coordinate with IT and system vendors to keep OASES current, secure, and compliant.
• Administer the Engineering & Maintenance SharePoint portal with controlled engineering documents and revisions.
• Ensure all maintenance and modification activities are documented accurately and comply with requirements.
• Manage the receipt, distribution, revision, and control of technical publications from manufacturers.
• Maintain accurate records of aircraft configuration, including effectivity, modifications, and operating limitations.
• Maintain onboard Aircraft Document Log, ensuring certificates and documents are current and accessible.
• Develop, review, issue, and maintain Technical Notices and Maintenance Circulars.
• Identify opportunities to improve technical records and workflows for efficiency and compliance.
• Participate in training to stay up-to-date on records management and industry standards.
• Carry out any other tasks as directed by Manager Technical Services.
