Chef Middle East is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to oversee inventory and optimize stock levels across the CME portfolio. You will ensure high availability for top SKUs, collaborate with regional suppliers, and coordinate with procurement to manage contracts and pricing.

The role requires ERP experience, strong English communication, and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure while driving continuous improvement in inventory performance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Procure new products from regional suppliers as per Sales enquiries.
• Coordinate with Procurement for supplier contracts and pricing.
• Ensure optimum stock coverage per forecasted requirements.
• Generate supplier-wise inventory plans and coordinate with suppliers for shipment.
• Create purchase orders and post in ERP.
• Regularly check and follow up delivery from suppliers.
• Coordinate with Category, Sales, Operations, Warehouse and Logistics.
• Ensure stock availability at all times.
• Maintain effective communications and teamwork.

Job Outline

The Supply Chain Associate will oversee and manage the inventory. They will also be responsible for maintaining availability and optimizing the inventory.

Key Accountabilities

1. 1. Availability: Need to ensure that 98% plus availability are maintained for the top 1000 SKU’s from CME Portfolio
2. 2. Inventory Days: Seek to minimize inventory days of supply to reduce the risks of excess and obsolete inventory.
3. 3. NPI: both Expiries and NPI’s should be minimized to less than tolerance rate

Job Content

• Must have experience working with regional suppliers to procure new products in accordance with enquiries from the Sales team.
• Coordinate with the Procurement team for supplier contracts and pricing.
• Ensure optimum stock coverage across all products as per forecasted requirements.
• Generate supplier wise order inventory plans and coordinate with suppliers for shipment plans.
• Generate purchase orders as per requirement and post the same in the ERP system.
• Regular check and follow up of delivery from suppliers.
• Coordinate with other departments – Category, Sales, Operations, Warehouse and Logistics
• Ensure stock availability at all times.
• Ensure effective communications and teamwork.

Qualifications and Experience

• College or University degree or at least one year related experience in a similar industry
• Must be familiar with any ERP system and Microsoft Office suite packages.
• Excellent communication skills (proficiency in English)
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
