Job Overview
The merchandiser has a core role connecting the supply chain supervisor, customers, PMC, logistics, warehouse and quality department. This position is mainly responsible for the whole‑process follow‑up of customer orders, including order confirmation, production tracking, delivery arrangement, document sorting and customer docking. The incumbent ensures the smooth progress of all orders, guarantees on‑time and high‑quality delivery of products, maintains good customer relationships and assists the supply chain supervisor in completing sales targets and improving customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Processing – Confirmation: Receive and sort customer purchase orders, verify order details (product specifications, models, quantities, unit prices, shipment mode and payment terms), confirm inconsistent information with customers and the supply chain supervisor in a timely manner, complete the order review process in the OA platform, print, stamp and sign purchase orders and enter orders into the ERP system, and review and file documents.
- Production – Progress Follow‑up: Communicate daily with the PMC department to track real‑time production progress, monitor raw material preparation and production schedule, timely identify delays or abnormal problems, coordinate internal resources to solve them, and feedback the latest progress to customers regularly.
- Delivery – Logistics Arrangement: Confirm delivery conditions with the warehouse and logistics team, arrange shipment plans reasonably according to order requirements and customer needs, track cargo loading, transportation and arrival status, handle temporary delivery adjustments and emergency problems during transportation, and ensure orders are delivered on schedule.
- Document – Data Management: Sort out and organize all order‑related documents (sales contracts, purchase orders, inspection reports, invoices, shipping documents), establish and update order data files regularly, complete daily, weekly and monthly order statistics and reports, and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Customer Communication – Maintenance: Actively respond to customers’ daily inquiries about order progress, product information, delivery and after‑sales issues, accurately record customer demands and feedback, forward effective suggestions and complaints to relevant departments, and follow up processing results to maintain stable customer cooperation relationships.
- Internal Coordination / Assistant Work: Cooperate with the supply chain supervisor, PMC, logistics, warehouse, purchase, quality inspection, finance and other departments to promote efficient connection of each link of order execution; assist the supply chain supervisor in daily business work (customer information sorting, sample arrangement, business data statistics, etc.) and in sorting out sales performance data to complete departmental targets.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: University diploma or above; major in International Trade, Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics Management or related fields is preferred.
- Work Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in sales order follow‑up, customer service or foreign trade documentary; fresh graduates with good learning ability are also acceptable.
- Skill Requirements: Proficient in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data statistics and document production; familiar with the whole process of order execution and basic business processes; basic English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills or foreign trade business experience are preferred.
- Comprehensive Competencies: Careful and rigorous work attitude, strong data sensitivity and logical thinking ability; good cross‑departmental communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
