Job summary

gu-recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Tender Manager to lead end-to-end tendering for construction and industrial projects in Oman. You will oversee the full bid cycle—from opportunity identification to final negotiation—preparing technical and commercial submissions and coordinating with engineering, planning, and commercial teams.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying degree, 10–15 years tendering experience with 5+ years in leadership, and strong cost

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
10–15 years of tendering experience, with 5+ years in lead/managerial role.
Expertise in cost estimation, rate analysis, and pricing for large-scale projects.
Experience drafting RFQs, technical specs, and coordinating with vendors.
Familiar with market trends, supplier networks, and pricing benchmarks.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end tendering for public and private sector projects.
Prepare complete tender documentation and technical/commercial submissions.
Coordinate with engineering, planning, and commercial teams to finalize costing.
Manage vendor prequalification, quotes, and procurement strategy for major works.
Lead post-bid negotiations and clarifications with clients and consultants.
