Job summary

gu-recruitment seeks a seasoned Tender & Procurement Manager to lead tendering and procurement for construction and industrial projects. You will drive pre- and post-tender activities, engage vendors and subcontractors, shape bidding strategy, and oversee material sourcing and cost estimation.

The role requires deep market insight, advanced technical knowledge, and coordination with clients, consultants, and internal teams. Strong negotiation and contract management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• 15+ years in construction tender planning and procurement.
• Familiar with different contract types (Lump Sum, EPC, Design-Build).
• Proven track record in tendering, procurement, and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation and commercial risk analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Tender management from pre-bid to post-bid, including documentation and negotiations.
• Lead procurement, vendor/subcontractor selection, and price negotiations.
• Administer contracts, manage EOTs, variations and cost control.
