Job summary

OQ8 is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide expert HR guidance to senior managers and staff within the business area. You will drive workforce planning, talent management, and employee relations, ensuring alignment with policies and legal requirements.

You will train and coach stakeholders on HR policies, translate business needs into HR practices, and support change management initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resource, Administration, or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required).
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Oil & Energy experience (greenfield refinery & petrochemical plant operations and infrastructure).
• Experience of HR Business Partnering with senior management teams in a generalist HR role.
• Track record for building strong professional relationships and credibility.
• Experience of leading a range of HR initiatives in support of a wider HR strategy.
• Strong working knowledge of Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Industrial Relations, Learning & Development.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR expertise to the organization and address people matters in line with best practice, compliance and legal requirements.
• Train, coach, support, and guide stakeholders on HR policies and procedures in line with legislation.
• Translate business requirements into effective HR practices aligned to objectives.
• Deliver workforce planning, restructuring, resourcing, talent management, pay & reward, ER, engagement, and performance management.
• Support managers with complex casework, performance, attendance and ER issues.
• Analyze trends from people metrics to influence decision-making across business units.
• Lead HR initiatives across the HR spectrum and support wider organizational projects.
• Develop and maintain relations with recognized trade unions.
