Job summary

Sodexo Oman is seeking a senior HR leader to head the HR function countrywide, partnering with the country manager and HODs to define HR strategy and oversee all HR activities. You will implement and ensure compliance with employee relations programs, Sodexo policies and procedures, and local labor laws affecting human resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR function in country, supporting country manager and HODs to define HR strategy and oversee all aspects of HR
• Implementing and ensuring compliance with Sodexo employee relations programs, Sodexo policies and procedures and local laws regarding labor and human resources
• Lead and implement program of Nationalization of the workforce and ensure successful integration, retention and productivity of the workforce
• Maintaining records and reports necessary to comply with company, government and clients standards and regulations
• Coaching and mentoring that includes sensitive and high-level HR issues, developmental plans, training, resources, and opportunities
• Building and developing a robust candidate pool through recruitment and succession planning
• Develop diversity and inclusion in line with the Group ambitions
• Develop and activate a measurable succession plan and organizational development process for self, team and designated senior positions and position seen as high risk.
• Partner in business growth and guide the business towards its goal of becoming an employer of choice and in sustainable development activities.
• Work with the leadership team to implement strategies to further improve employee engagement and retention levels.
• Drive and roll out robust Compensation & Benefits processes
• Provide HR input and leadership in the business development process and develop a strong web of influence and strategic relationships with existing and new clients.
• Determine and monitor relevant KPI’s for individuals and teams across the organization.
