Job summary

Experience Oman seeks a senior Contracts & Procurement leader to oversee strategy, sourcing, and supplier performance under the OQ8 framework. You will direct cross-functional teams and govern procurement and contracting services to deliver business value with compliant processes.

The role requires extensive experience in procurement, contract management, and strategic sourcing within the oil & gas sector, including ME region exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting, operation management, supply chain, quantity surveying or related field.
• Minimum 14 years of relevant working experience handling Contracts and Procurement processes or related field.
• Solid knowledge in procurement, downstream oil & gas context and mega projects execution.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing and category management concepts.
• Abreast of leading practices in procurement processes and systems.
• Strong understanding of contract management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and execution of Contracts and Procurement long-term strategic plan.
• Oversee risk management and ensure compliance with local government procurement guidelines.
• Oversee procurement strategy execution through best-in-class sourcing and negotiation strategies.
• Oversee the contract strategy execution and development of improved contractual documents.
• Lead audit queries for contract-related matters within Strategic Contracts.
• Monitor Contracts & Procurement financial performance against the approved budget.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Operation Management, Supply Chain, Quantity Surveying or related field

Master’s degree or other qualification - Preferred
