Job summary

Oman Investment Authority in Muscat seeks a Chief Executive Officer to lead the Company’s diversified investment portfolio, steer direct investments, fund management and co-investments, and drive sustainable returns for shareholders.

The role emphasizes strategic execution, governance, stakeholder engagement at ministerial and board levels, and building a high-performing leadership team across GCC and Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive investment/finance experience, incl. 5+ years in senior executive roles.
• Proven end-to-end investment track record from origination to exit.
• Experience in establishing/developing funds or investment platforms.
• Executive presence with board-level and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Integrity, independent judgement and governance understanding.
• Strong network in GCC and Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute company strategy, annual plan, budget, and scorecard with P&L responsibility.
• Originate, evaluate, structure, negotiate and exit investments across private equity and related assets.
• Lead fund management and co-investment platform development with fiduciary accountability.
• Oversee portfolio value creation, drive performance improvements and growth initiatives.
• Manage restructurings, capital protection, and conflict resolution as needed.
• Lead exits and monetization strategies and redeploy capital to growth opportunities.
• Represent the company to ministers, shareholders, boards and partners; build a high-performing leadership team.
