Job summary

WSP is seeking a Technical Director to lead regional asset management across Oman, focusing on the Port of Duqm assignment and supporting business development. You will work with senior leadership to deliver client value and strengthen WSP’s market position in strategic asset management.

The role requires deep asset management expertise, leadership, and the ability to drive across governance, information systems and lifecycle planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Master’s degree in engineering management preferred.
Minimum 12–15 years in asset management/infrastructure maintenance roles.
Senior leadership experience in ports, industrial facilities or large-scale assets.

Responsibilities

Develop training programmes to strengthen technical capability.
Mentor and develop junior team members.
Conduct maturity assessments and gap analyses aligned with ISO 55000.
Define asset strategies, policies and operating models.
Manage project workstreams to deliver outcomes on time and within budget.
Establish lifecycle management plans for assets and facilities.
Coordinate with planning, engineering and maintenance teams.
Monitor compliance with safety, regulatory and concession obligations.
