Job summary

Worley in Oman seeks a senior Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, sourcing, expediting, inventory, preservation, and logistics under contract. You will drive end-to-end supply chain activities, ensure safety, efficiency, and governance, and optimize cost and performance across projects in the Middle East.

The role requires 18+ years in contracting and sourcing, with at least 7 years in a senior capacity, and strong English communication, leadership, and data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Membership in an internationally recognized professional institute is preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in contracting and sourcing, inventory management, cost modelling, and change management, including at least 7 years in a senior role, preferably within an oil and gas organization in or around the Middle East region.
• Extensive knowledge of supply chain management processes, systems, commercial intelligence, and relevant industry best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in data management tools, computer software applications, ERP systems, and SAP sourcing functionality.
• Excellent written and spoken English, supported by strong communication, interpersonal, team leadership, and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for procurement activities to support project delivery.
• Oversee the complete supply chain lifecycle for each purchase order, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and company procedures.
• Lead, guide, and develop sourcing and logistics personnel to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies supporting contracting, sourcing, logistics, expediting, inventory and preservation activities.
• Conduct market intelligence and support supplier base expansion to drive competition.
• Coordinate technical evaluations, price comparisons, and contract or purchase award recommendations.
• Monitor compliance and governance across sourcing and logistics processes.
• Prepare monthly reports and updates on supply chain performance to Contract Manager.
