Job summary

Como Facilities Management Services in Muscat is seeking a disciplined Storekeeper to manage food and catering inventory. You will receive, inspect, store and issue materials, while enforcing FIFO/FEFO and food-safety standards.

Responsibilities include conducting regular stock counts, preparing reports on shortages and expiry, coordinating with kitchen and purchasing teams, and maintaining a clean, organized store in a remote-site/large operations environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in catering or food-store operations
• Diploma or relevant storekeeping certification preferred
• Remote-site or large industrial catering-camp experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect food, beverages and catering supplies.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Store materials according to food-safety requirements.
• Maintain FIFO and FEFO procedures.
• Monitor expiry dates, storage temperatures and stock levels.
• Issue supplies against approved requisitions.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock counts.
• Prepare inventory, shortage, damage and near-expiry reports.
• Coordinate with kitchen, catering and purchasing teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised store.
