Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Oman is seeking a Lifting Supervisor to oversee all lifting activities on site, ensuring that lifting plans and risk assessments are prepared and followed. You will inspect lifting equipment, verify crane operators, riggers and signalmen are competent, and conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings related to lifting operations.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical required.
Minimum 5 years of lifting operations experience in construction, oil & gas, or heavy industry. Familiarity with cranes, rigging gear, and lifting accessories.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all lifting activities on site
Ensure lifting plans and risk assessments are in place and followed
Inspect lifting equipment and ensure it is certified and in good working condition
Verify that crane operators riggers and signalmen are competent and certified
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings related to lifting operations
Monitor weather and site conditions to determine safe lifting windows
Liaise with site management HSE and subcontractors to plan and execute lifts safely
Maintain records of lifting operations incidents and equipment inspections
