Job summary

Marsa LNG is seeking a hands-on lifting supervisor to directly oversee all lifting and rigging operations on site, ensuring safe and efficient execution. You will supervise lifts, perform pre-lift checks, verify gear, brief crews, maintain logs and report incidents while coordinating with other site supervisors.

Eligibility includes Gulf-experience and age 24-50, with on-site responsibilities across lifting plans, exclusion zones and clear communication using hand signals or radios.

Qualifications

• Supervise all lifting operations on site.
• Conduct pre-lift checks on cranes, rigging equipment and accessories.
• Ensure lifting gear is inspected, certified and fit for use.
• Brief crane operators, riggers and banksmen before each lift.
• Control exclusion zones and keep unauthorized personnel out.
• Communicate with crane operators using hand signals or radio.
• Monitor ground conditions, weather and environmental factors during lifts.
• Stop lifting operations immediately if unsafe conditions are observed.
• Ensure correct rigging configurations and load attachment methods.
• Maintain daily lifting logs and inspection checklists.
• Report incidents, near-misses and equipment defects to the Lifting Engineer and HSE team.
• Coordinate with other site supervisors to plan and sequence lifts.
• Age limit 24-50; Gulf experience required.
