Job summary

TotalEnergies is seeking a skilled Marine Superintendent to oversee LNG bunkering, marine operations, and terminal coordination for the MARSA LNG Bunkering Project in Oman. You will ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency, while leading a multi-disciplinary team and liaising with Sohar Port Authority, port authorities, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in LNG shipping operations, terminal management, vessel berthing, cargo handling, and compliance with maritime safety and environmental regulations.
• 12+ years in maritime leadership roles, including LNG/LPG carriers or oil/chemical tanker exposure.
• English proficiency and ability to liaise with government authorities, port authorities, and teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LNG bunkering operations and vessel berthing at the terminal.
• Lead marine and logistics activities, ensuring safety, compliance and efficiency.
• Develop and enforce local marine procedures, standards, and emergency plans.
• Manage budgets and cost controls for marine, warehousing and lifting activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities (Port Authorities, SIPC) for audits and certifications.
• Prepare periodic technical reports on LNG vessel performance and operational logs.
