Job summary

gu-recruitment is seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Erection Lead to oversee WTG erection activities across remote locations. The role involves supervising unloading, storage, assembly and installation of turbine components, coordinating crane operations and ensuring strict adherence to OEM procedures, quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in industrial construction with wind experience, English proficiency at B2/C1, and readiness for rotational work in international

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8–10 years in industrial construction with 8 years in wind turbine erection.
• Proven experience on wind farms above 300 MW.
• English proficiency B2/C1.
• Willingness to work in remote locations and rotational assignments.
• Wind industry certifications and GWO training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for WTG erection activities and supervise associated tasks.
• Coordinate crane operations, lifting studies and heavy lifts for turbine components.
• Ensure compliance with OEM procedures, quality requirements and HSE standards.
• Manage subcontractors and interfaces with civil, electrical and commissioning teams.
• Support mechanical completion, punch-list clearance and handover.
