Job summary

OQ Chemicals in Oman (Muscat) seeks a Senior Engineer, Projects to lead end-to-end well-delivery efforts, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. You will manage interfaces across disciplines to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of off-plot facilities and well delivery projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Process Engineering with proven leadership in multi-disciplinary teams, strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or PMP is advantageous.
• Excellent knowledge of English; strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of well hook-up and off-plot facilities, ensuring safe, efficient execution per AFC documents and HSSE requirements.
• Develop integrated well-delivery plans covering resources, materials, inspections, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Manage interfaces across Operations, Subsurface, Drilling, Asset Integrity, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, QA/QC, HSSE and stakeholders.
• Monitor schedules, critical paths, budgets, forecasts, and costs; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate tendering, contracting, and procurement activities, including management of long-lead items and expediting.
