Job summary
gu-recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Procurement Manager to lead strategic and operational procurement across construction and industrial projects. You will own end-to-end activities from specification and vendor engagement to delivery, commissioning support, and post-contract obligations.
The role requires 10+ years in international procurement of large equipment, strong negotiation skills, ERP experience, and the ability to coordinate with EPC teams across Engineering, Planning,
Qualifications
- 10+ years of procurement experience in construction/industrial projects.
- International procurement of large equipment and complex systems.
- Lead/managerial experience in procurement channels and vendor engagements.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and international logistics.
- Experience with EPC frameworks, QA/QC, and HSE interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets.
- Lead supplier prequalification, negotiations, and bid evaluations.
- Manage back-to-back contracting and risk mitigation with main contracts.
- Oversee post-award activities: expediting, FAT/SAT, deliveries, and warranties.
- Coordinate with EPC teams across Engineering, Planning, QA/QC, HSE, and Construction.
