Job summary

Ericsson seeks a Customer Project Manager to lead assigned customer projects, ensuring goals are met and customer expectations are fulfilled. You will manage relationships, monitor progress, and drive delivery within contractual bounds.

You will establish baselines, coordinate resources, and supervise activities while guiding the team through changes and issues. Strong telecom BSS domain knowledge and PMP certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent
• Minimum 5 years in customer-facing project manager roles or equivalent leadership toward telecom operators
• Domain experience: Telecom BSS
• Experience in systems integration projects with high number integration points requiring heavy customization and non-standard integrations
• PM Certification (PMP) or equivalent
• Proven problem-solving skills and strong written & spoken communication
• Customer focused and able to understand business and customer needs
• Professional attitude with ability to prioritize, manage time and deliver results
• Good team player with high interpersonal skills
• Financial Acumen & Analysis Skills
• Customer and Market Insight

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned customer projects to meet goals and maintain strong customer relations within contract scope
• Establish project plan baseline, define scope, secure resources, and supervise activities
• Drive project execution, track progress, manage changes, conflicts and critical issues
• Handle project finance, monitor financial systems and ensure compliance with budgets
• Engage customers and partners to build confidence and trust, ensure progress
• Secure delivery against contractual and business case requirements
• Mentor project teams and support professional growth
• Identify add-on sales opportunities and improve top/bottom lines
• Drive risk management activities and risk assessments
• Collaborate with account team during presales for contract strategy and cost/time planning
• Contribute to business development through contract preparation and pre-sales meetings
