Job summary

Saudi Aramco is seeking a Subsea Engineer to join the Marine Operations Division. You will lead offshore subsea tasks, coordinate diving operations, and ensure compliance with Aramco standards. The role requires strong technical expertise and proven offshore leadership, with global regulatory awareness.

You will interface with customers, prepare detailed procedures, and guide engineering contractors. This position offers a challenging, high-scale environment in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Marine Engineering. Master’s in Subsea or Pipeline Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Subsea Engineering related roles in the oil and gas industry.
• Professional Chartership with an Internationally Recognized Engineering Body preferred.
• Significant offshore experience in lead or field engineer roles.
• Experience with international Marine regulatory body requirements, classification standards, and subsea engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide main interface between diving operations and customers when developing procedures and equipment lists.
• Lead onshore planning and offshore execution of subsea operations.
• Act as focal point for SOW reviews and engineering compliance.
• Ensure subsea work complies with Marine Operations Manual and internal guidance documents.
• Serve as Client Worksite Representative offshore when necessary.
• Provide technical input for development projects and guidance to contractors.
• Act as Saudi Aramco technical contact for subsea project contracts.
• Contribute technical input for decommissioning or new projects.
