Job summary

ISFC is seeking a Production Manager to lead safe, efficient tuna and sardine production, maximise yield and control costs. The role drives OEE, Lean and TPM practices while ensuring food safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

You will develop KPIs, coach supervisors and coordinate with Planning, Supply Chain and Maintenance to meet targets. The position requires extensive experience in high-volume food manufacturing, strong leadership, and a track record in continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of food or seafood manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading high-volume production operations.
• Experience with OEE, Lean Manufacturing, TPM and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of ERP/MES production reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production of canned tuna and sardines to achieve safety, quality and cost targets.
• Deliver the production plan in coordination with Planning, Supply Chain and Maintenance.
• Improve OEE by reducing downtime and waste through TPM and maintenance.
• Drive labour productivity via line balancing and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory control and report weekly cost variances.
• Promote a culture of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
