Job summary

Leading Fish Meal and Oil Manufacturing Co in Oman exporting to major fish feed manufacturing clusters globally is seeking a Seafood Processing Supervisor. The role focuses on supervising seafood processing, maintaining strict hygiene and sanitation compliance, and ensuring regulatory conformity.

You will implement HACCP, GMP and ISO/FSSC 22000 food safety and traceability systems, with hands-on experience in IQF, blast freezing and QA/QC processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in the seafood processing / fish freezing industry
• Experience in seafood processing supervision and ensuring hygiene and sanitation compliance
• Knowledge of FDA and EU seafood regulations
• Proficiency with HACCP, GMP, and ISO/FSSC 22000 food safety and traceability systems
• Practical experience with Blast Freezing, Plate Freezing, and IQF equipment
• Familiarity with QA/QC, laboratory testing, audits and traceability procedures

Responsibilities

• Oversee seafood processing operations and ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards
• Ensure conformance to FDA and EU seafood regulations and internal QA/QC protocols

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the seafood processing / fish freezing industry
• Seafood processing supervision Hygiene and sanitation compliance
• Working knowledge of FDA and EU seafood regulations
• Proficiency in HACCP, GMP, and ISO/FSSC 22000 food safety and traceability systems
• Practical experience with Blast Freezing, Plate Freezing, and IQF (Individual Quick Freezing)
• FDA & EU seafood regulations; HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000/ISO 22000; QA/QC, laboratory testing, audits, traceability
