Job summary

gu-recruitment is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our tuna and sardine finished products warehouses in Oman. You will supervise transfers, storage, and dispatch while ensuring safety and adherence to IMS standards.

You will manage inventory, perform cycle counts, and generate reports on productivity and accuracy. Strong leadership and bilingual English/Arabic communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience as warehouse supervisor or a Bachelor's degree in logistics or SCM with 2+ years in a similar role.
• Experience in warehouse operation duties.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of tuna & sardine finished goods warehouses.
• Manage inventory, cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare reports on productivity, inventory levels, and accuracy; provide improvement recommendations.
• Maintain IMS standards (ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Halal management).
• Lead and supervise warehouse staff; coordinate with stakeholders.

Job description

Overseeing and managing the day-to-day operation of both tuna & sardine finished products warehouses, including transferring of the finished products, storing them in a well systematic order and dispatching products. while insuring efficient coordination with all stakeholders. Monitoring & enforcing the company policies and safety regulations to ensure safety to all warehouse employees. Managing inventory, which includes maintaining accurate records, conducting cycle counts, and resolving any inventory discrepancies. Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software to track and manage inventory. Prepare and analyse reports on warehouses operation including productivity, inventory levels, and inventory accuracy providing recommendations for improvements. Strong attention to details and accuracy in records keeping. Review and monitor the stock levels of the secondary packaging items and plan replenishments to avoid stock outs. Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively supervise and nominate warehouse staff. Proven ability to speak, read & write in English & Arabic
