Job summary

Client of Creative Chain Business ManPower Services in Oman is looking for a lead in Mineral Resource Estimation and Modelling. The role involves overseeing mineral resource estimates for various metal projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and leading a team of geologists and specialists.

The ideal candidate should have significant experience in mineral resource estimation, be a formally credentialed Competent Person, and possess strong leadership and communication skills. A strong familiarity with Oman’s geological setting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in mineral resource estimation.
• Formally credentialed Competent Person under JORC and/or SAMREC.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and peer review of Mineral Resource estimates.
• Act as Competent Person for disclosures of Mineral Resources.
• Recruit, develop and lead a team of resource geologists.
