Qualifications

• 15+ years in mining, mineral exploration or project development
• GCC experience mandatory, preferably Oman/UAE/Saudi Arabia
• Strong background in resource evaluation, exploration programs and feasibility studies
• Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and external consultants
• Exposure to mining economics, project evaluation and commercial assets

Responsibilities

• Lead mining and exploration strategy for mineral assets and new opportunities
• Identify and evaluate exploration and mining opportunities across geographies
• Oversee geological exploration programs, resource estimation, drilling and feasibility studies
• Drive exploration and development of Potash, Gold, Copper, Phosphate and other assets
• Lead technical due diligence for acquisitions and development of mining assets
• Collaborate with geologists, mining engineers, consultants, authorities and partners
• Monitor mine development, project economics and resource quality
• Develop budgets, timelines, reports and investment recommendations
• Ensure compliance with mining regulations, permits and guidelines
• Build and manage high-performing technical and exploration teams
• Represent the organisation to government authorities, investors and partners
• Provide senior management with recommendations on exploration priorities

Key Responsibilities

Lead the strong mining and exploration strategy strong for the organisation s mineral assets and new opportunities Identify and evaluate potential strong mineral exploration and mining opportunities strong across relevant geographies Oversee geological exploration programs resource estimation drilling programs geological modelling and feasibility studies Drive exploration and development of strong Potash Gold Copper Copper Sulphate strong Phosphate and other relevant mineral assets Evaluate mineral deposits from a strong technical commercial and geological perspective strong Lead technical due diligence for acquisition investment and development of mining assets Work closely with geologists mining engineers consultants government authorities and external technical partners Monitor mine development production potential resource quality and project economics Develop exploration budgets project timelines technical reports and investment recommendations Ensure compliance with applicable strong mining regulations environmental requirements permits and statutory guidelines strong Build and manage high-performing technical and exploration teams Represent the organisation in discussions with strong government authorities mining partners consultants and investors strong Provide senior management with recommendations on mineral assets exploration priorities and project viability 15+ years of overall experience in mining, mineral exploration and/or mining project development.GCC experience is mandatory, preferably in Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia or other GCC markets.Strong experience in mineral exploration and mining project development.Hands-on exposure to one or more of the following is essential:PotashGoldCopperPhosphate Strong geological / mining technical background with experience in resource evaluation, exploration programs and feasibility studies.Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and external consultants.Strong understanding of mining economics, project evaluation and commercial aspects of mineral assets.Experience dealing with government authorities, licensing bodies and regulatory stakeholders in GCC/Middle East markets will be highly preferred.Bachelor's/Master's degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, Mineral Exploration or a related discipline.Strong leadership, strategic thinking, stakeholder management and communication skills.
