Job summary

Worley is seeking a Manager of Materials to lead all materials management activities for major projects in Muscat. The role requires overseeing receiving, inspection, storage, preservation, and transfer of materials, ensuring traceability and compliance across construction, pre-commissioning, and startup phases.

The position partners with Procurement, Expediting, Logistics, Construction, and Quality teams to maintain material visibility, minimize shortages, and support on‑time project execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline required.
• APICS/ASCM, MCIPS, PMP or equivalent preferred.
• 12–15 years in Materials Management or related fields in Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure or Industrial sectors.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM/PMC project environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead all project materials management activities in support of project execution objectives.
• Develop and implement project materials management procedures, systems, controls, and reporting processes.
• Ensure material visibility across the project lifecycle from receipt to close‑out.
• Oversee warehouse, inventory, preservation, and material control processes.
• Coordinate integration between Procurement, Logistics, Construction, and Commissioning teams.
• Manage material readiness reporting and ensure alignment with schedules.
