The role covers warehousing, transportation, fleet management, inventory, route-to-market, and logistics technology, with responsibilities across multiple business units and markets.

Qualifications

General Purpose

Lead and manage strategic distribution and supply chain projects across the Group, with primary responsibility for planning, coordinating and implementing initiatives aimed at developing an integrated, efficient and scalable distribution model.

Lead and manage strategic distribution and supply chain projects across the Group, with primary responsibility for planning, coordinating and implementing initiatives aimed at developing an integrated, efficient and scalable distribution model.
The role will assess existing distribution operations across the Group, identify opportunities for consolidation and optimization, and lead projects covering warehousing, transportation, fleet management, inventory, route-to-market, logistics technology and distribution network optimization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline. Master's degree, MBA or postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or Project Management is preferred. Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, APICS/ASCM, CILT or equivalent are advantageous.
  

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience, preferably 15 20 years, in international supply chain, logistics, distribution or route-to-market operations.
• Significant experience in senior project management roles involving large-scale supply chain or distribution transformation.
• Strong international exposure within sophisticated distribution environments.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, consolidating or transforming complex distribution operations.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, beverages, consumer goods, large-scale distribution or integrated retail supply chains is highly preferred.
• Practical exposure to warehousing, distribution centers, transportation, fleet management, network design, route-to-market, last-mile delivery, inventory optimization, demand planning/S&OP and logistics automation.
• Experience working across multiple business units, companies, brands or geographic markets.
• Proven experience developing business cases and delivering measurable operational and financial benefits.
• Excellent command of English is required.
• Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong technical and commercial terminology related to supply chain, logistics and distribution is required.
• Contractual employement of one year.
