Job summary

Polymer Experts Oman is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead DBOT polymer facility project procurement in Muscat, Oman. The role covers vendor prequalification, tendering, bid evaluation, PO placement, expediting, inspection coordination, logistics and site delivery, from Detail Design through handover.

Qualifications

15+ years of relevant procurement experience.
Led vendor and subcontractor procurement on oil and gas projects.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 in vendor management.

Responsibilities

Own the procurement strategy and plan, integrating schedule and cost into the project baseline.
Run vendor prequalification, tendering, bid evaluation, and contract placement across equipment and material packages.
Manage vendor performance through expediting, escalation and dispute mitigation.
Coordinate FATs, KOM/PIM and third-party inspection with the Quality Manager.
Oversee logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance and delivery to site.
Ensure vendor deliverables meet information and handover requirements.
Track commitments, VOWD and cash flow with the Project Controls Engineer, and report procurement progress monthly.
